Scheduling an Appointment with the Telephone-Operated Service

Appointments for non-immigrant visa application interviews are only scheduled or re-scheduled through the Live Operator Service.  The number to call is 0032-(0)2.788.12.00.  All emergency appointment requests must be made through the same number.  Do not call the embassy for appointments. The Live Operator Service is open from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Operators speak English, Dutch and French.  Each call is 15 euro and must be charged to a Visa creditcard or Mastercard (Eurocard).

When you call, make sure to have your passport, Visa creditcard or Mastercard (Eurocard), a pen and a notepad ready. You will receive specific information on the requirements to apply for a visa. The application procedure will be explained in detail.  You will receive courteous, professional and accurate answers to all your visa questions.

Why do we charge a fee for the  telephone service?

Answering even a fraction of the incoming calls while processing visas as quickly as possible proved nearly impossible. Our use of a call center guarantees our applicants a fast turn-around time of visa applications and guarantees our callers fast and accurate information. We can do both by offering a pay-per-call service. Our consular staff can now focus on processing visas more quickly and not on answering the phone.
