How do I pay the visa processing fee?
• The visa application fee of 91.70 euros per person MUST be paid IN CASH OR BY CREDIT CARD, IN THE U.S. CONSULAR SECTION, on the day of your appointment. To avoid long queues, please arrive at the Consular Section 15 minutes PRIOR to your appointment to pay the fee. This fee cannot be reimbursed, even if your visa application is not approved.
Is the fee refundable if I do not apply or am refused a visa?
No. The fee is not refundable.
I paid the processing fee, but after the interview I had to pay an additional amount. Why?
The processing fee pays administrative costs related to your visa application. It is not a visa fee. However, when other countries charge U.S. citizens a separate visa fee we charge the same amount on the basis of reciprocity.
