Collections of paper-based resources available to academic users

  • The Center for American Studies at the Royal Library in Brussels is described above. It contains the largest holdings on the United States in Belgium, and is unique since it exists as a separate, open shelve unit within the Royal Library in Brussels.

  • Many libraries in Belgium have large holdings on the United States. At universities, these holdings can be located in central, faculty or departmental libraries.
  • The American Documentation Center (AMDOC) at KUL is a special section in the Department of Germanic languages, devoted to American subject matter, of special interest to future teachers of English.
