Expedite appointment

  • We cannot help you by email.  Here is how to ask for a faster appointment:
    - Step 1: follow the visa instructions at and schedule a regular appointment.  All applicants must pay the visa fee.
    - Step 2: request an expedite, again through

    The Consular Section will review your request.  Tell us why you need an expedited appointment when you ask for one.

    Sometimes, we say no.  Personal needs or saving money, are not expedited appointment emergencies.  Cases with urgent humanitarian needs, e.g. attending funerals of close family members or medical emergencies are first. Approved visas are not available right away, and may take several days to process.
